Dr. Tibor Farkas
Pathobiological Sciences (PBS)

Biography:
Dr. Farkas received his DVM degree from the University of Veterinary Medical Sciences in Hungary, his PhD degree from the United Graduate School of Veterinary Medical Sciences of Yamaguchi University in Japan and his MBA degree from the University of Cincinnati. He did his postdoctoral training at the Center for Pediatric Research, Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters and Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. In 2001 he joined the Division of Infectious Diseases at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center as an instructor and later was promoted to assistant professor. In 2016 he moved to Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Currently he is a research assistant professor at the School of Veterinary Medicine.
