Dr. Jenifer Godfrey
Veterinary Clinical Sciences (VCS)

Jenifer F. Godfrey, J.D. currently serves the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in a dual capacity as Assistant Dean of Admissions & Recruitment and a member of the faculty at the rank of Instructor in the Veterinary Clinical Sciences department. Jenifer earned her Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science and her Doctor of Jurisprudence at West Virginia University, and she is currently completing her Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Research at Louisiana State University. Jenifer's part-time practice experience includes immigration law and corporate civil defense primarily in the areas of employment law and toxic torts. However, Jenifer has spent most of her career in higher education, holding various titles from Associate Director to Assistant Dean and overseeing various operations from professional school admissions to system-level Title IV and Title IX policy work. Jenifer happily resides in her husband Trey's hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana where they raise their brilliant and beautiful children.
