Biography:
ACVP board certified veterinary pathologist with more than 20 years of experience in diagnostic pathology as well as molecular pathology and optical imaging techniques.
Teaching Interests:
General and Systemic Pathology to veterinary and graduate students; Specialty board exam training of anatomic pathology residents.
Research Interests:
Dr. Langohr’s interest focuses on the development of animal models for human cancer and the pathogenesis of infectious diseases. She is particularly interested in the characterization of the inflammatory response in neoplastic and infectious diseases. By using techniques such as in-situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry, she has helped further characterize the molecular pathogenesis of diseases in a variety of animal models. Additionally, Dr. Langohr also has a keen interest in ocular pathology.
