Teaching Interests:
Histology, Cell biology, Ultrastructure cytology, Ruminat and Equine digestive system Physiology, Hair coat and skin problems in domestic animals. Gross anatomy of the internal organs of domestic animals.
Research Interests:
Ultrastructure Morphologist. My expertise is in ultrastructural morphology on specimens from in vitro as well as in vivo experimental models or compare experimented and control tissue. Specifically, we have capabilities to reveal ultrastructural morphological characteristics of subcellular organelles. I am conducting research on the ultrastructure morphology including stem cells in different passages, mast cell in dogs diagnosed with mast cell cutaneous tumor, plasma cell, melanocyte, equine planter and palmar nerve degeneration, wallarian degeneration, hemal lymph nodes, and povidon influence on mare uterine glands. My expertise complements research using cell culture or animal tissue.
My laboratory has established methodology on the diagnostic investigation of ultrastructural changes in sheep peripheral blood buffy coat, lymph nodes, spleen, and the liver and kidney of sheep diagnosed with acute lymphoblast leukemia induced by inoculation of bovine leukemia virus.
